The Milwaukee M18 FRCN45 18V FUEL Brushless Roofing Coil Nailer from ITS is a high-performance cordless fastening solution engineered specifically for professional roofing and exterior contractors.
Designed to eliminate the need for compressors, hoses and gas cartridges, this advanced nailer combines the power of Milwaukee's POWERSTATE brushless motor, REDLINK PLUS intelligence and REDLITHIUM battery technology to deliver fast, consistent nail driving with the freedom of cordless operation.
Whether installing roofing felt, shingles or asphalt roofing materials, or fixing fibre cement and vinyl siding, the M18 FUEL Roofing Coil Nailer provides outstanding productivity and mobility on the jobsite.
Featuring Ready to Fire Nail Technology, the nailer eliminates ramp-up time between shots, allowing users to work with the speed and responsiveness of a pneumatic nailer.
It offers both sequential firing for maximum accuracy and bump fire mode for rapid installation, delivering firing speeds of up to 6 nails per second. This makes it ideal for large roofing projects, repairs and exterior cladding work where speed and consistency are essential.
The tool accepts 15° wire-collated roofing coil nails ranging from 19mm to 45mm in length, with a 3.0mm shank diameter and 10.1–10.5mm head diameter. A large-capacity magazine holds up to 120 nails, reducing interruptions for reloading and helping maximise productivity throughout the working day.
Tool-free depth adjustment allows the nail depth to be set quickly and accurately for different roofing materials, ensuring flush, consistent fastening every time.
Built with professional users in mind, the M18 FUEL Roofing Coil Nailer includes a dry-fire lockout that prevents firing when the magazine is empty, helping to protect the workpiece and reduce unnecessary wear.
A bright LED work light improves visibility in poorly lit areas, while integrated replaceable rubber wear pads help protect both the tool and delicate roof surfaces. A durable pivoting belt and scaffolding hook allows the nailer to be safely stored between uses, improving convenience when working at height.
The nailer is capable of driving up to 1,100 nails per charge with a 3.0Ah battery, delivering exceptional runtime for repairs, maintenance work and smaller roofing installations.
Combining cordless convenience, high-speed performance and professional durability, the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Roofing Coil Nailer is an ideal choice for roofing contractors seeking maximum efficiency without compromise.

What is a Coil Nailer?
This is very much a specialist professional nailer rather than an allrounder. Sometimes known as a roofing nailer. The biggest advantage coil nailers have over most other nail guns is their ability to carry more nails in the magazine. Often around 200! If you are up on a roof where you're most likely to need one of these, not having to climb back down the ladder every 2 minutes to refill your nail gun is a big advantage.
These guns also fire a more specialist type of nail. These nails generally have large round heads suitable for fixing down roofing felt or other sheet material. Coil nailers are also being used more and more for fixing cement fibre boards (Hardieboard, Hardieplank).
Nails commonly range in size from around 19mm to 50mm and are also normally available in a range of materials such as galvanised, hot dipped galvanised or even stainless steel. So if rust is something you need to prevent, simply select the right nail for the job you're working on.
