Milwaukee M18 FN18GS-0X 18V FUEL Brushless Straight Finish Nailer 18 Gauge - Body
The Milwaukee M18 FN18GS 18V FUEL Brushless Straight Finish Nailer from ITS brings together power, precision and convenience in one cordless finishing tool that delivers a superior user experience.
Designed for finish carpenters, joiners, cabinetmakers and serious DIYers, this tool is built to perform in demanding environments - no hose, no compressors, no gas cartridges, no fuss.
With the ability to fire 18-gauge straight nails at a zero-degree pitch, this nailer leaves a smaller hole exactly matching the nail head, making finishing and filling far easier and neater.
One of the most compelling advantages of the 18 GS is it’s Ready to Fire Nail Technology: each time you pull the trigger, the nail drives immediately with no ramp-up delay between shots. That means whether you're firing one nail or a rapid sequence, the tool responds instantly.
The absence of gas also keeps the tool cleaner internally and more durable over time. To help you tailor your finish to different materials or visible surfaces, the tool comes with multiple interchangeable nosepieces that are stored on-board. Swap in the profile that suits your work and maintain a premium finish throughout.
Depth adjustment is entirely tool-free and intuitive: dial in how far the nail is driven with a simple twist, and the mechanism ensures consistent sub-flush results across boards, mouldings and trim. If the magazine runs dry, the Dry-Fire Lockout prevents the nailer from firing - no more accidental dry shots, no damage to surfaces. Clearing jams is straightforward with quick access panels designed for fast clearing during your workflow.
In real-world use, jobs involving skirting, architraves, cabinetry, panelling or trim framing are completed faster and with less rework. The compactness and balance of the tool help reduce fatigue, letting you maintain control and accuracy throughout a full day of nailing.
The M18 FN18GS Nailer includes three of Milwaukee’s exclusive technologies all for your benefit. The POWERSTATE Brushless motor helps maintaining the tool and ensures a longer operational life; the REDLITHIUM Battery packs which provide exceptional power for longer; and the REDLINK PLUS overload protection – maximising the power you need when you need it.
At the heart of the FN18GS Nail Gun is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.

It also produces less noise and cools down quicker to deliver years of maintenance free performance.
SHOP THE FUEL RANGEBrad nailers are most likely the most popular type of nailer, often referred to as either "2nd Fix" or "Finishing" nailers. These nailers fire "Brad Nails", which are heavier in gauge (Diameter), than pin nailers. Brad nails also tend to have a small head, and sometines a serrated shank. as a result, brad nails tend to have considerably more holding power than pins. Most common uses include things like attaching skirting boards, door trims, heavier mouldings or furniture assembly work.
You will also see both "Straight" and "Angled" versions of brad nailers available and it can be a bit of a head-scratcher deciding which may be best for you.
Angled nailers can get into corners far more easily which can be a huge advantage depending on the application but can be a little more restrictive in terms of the sizes of nails they can fire (EG 32mm to 64mm), straight nailers may struggle to get right into that corner, but will normally give you more nail size options, often being able to fire nails from a shorter starting point, (eg. 16m to 64mm).
Although Brad nailers fire a heavier gauge nail than pin nailers, the hole they leave behind on the workpiece is still relatively small and easy to fill for a great finish.
Brad nails most commonly have a gauge of around 16-18.
