The Makita UP100D 12V CXT Brushless Pruning Shear from ITS takes out the effort in manual pruning.
When you need to make finite adjustments to your landscaping or gardening jobs, having to rely of a variety of tools is cumbersome and time-wasting. With a maximum cutting capacity of 25mm, these powerful shears offer incredibly clean cuts, without the effort.
Ideal for noise-sensitive locations such as around schools, hospitals and offices, these shears effortlessly cut without the noise of a chainsaw or hedge trimmers.
The UP100D features the electronic adjustment of the blade opening and closing angle – either 18mm half open or 25mm fully open. By pressing the adjustment angle button for 3 seconds, the blade overlap can be adjusted when closed to protect the cutting blade.
The control buttons are placed at the base of the shear so that no changes are made to the operation by mistake as the trigger and grip are closer to the top of the tool, along with the LED indicator.
With overload protection to protect the internal circuitry against loads, as well as torque limiter, this low vibration machine will easily be able to product up to 2200 cuts of 15mm branches with a single 2.0Ah Battery.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
