The Wera 950/9 9 Piece Hex-Plus Multicolour 2 Metric L-Key Set from ITS is a selection of easily identifiable allan keys with large hex profile that reduces the notch effect and almost eliminates the destruction of the screw head.
L-keys made of round material fit better in the hand and make long, pain-free work possible. The plastic coating also ensures a comfortable grip, especially at low temperatures. Hexagon socket screws have the problem of being quickly turned round. The reason is the impact of the sharp edge of the tool on the inner surface of the screw head.
The gradual wear process eventually leads to "spinning". Wera Hex-Plus tools have larger contact surfaces in the screw head. The notch effect and thus the deformation of the screw are reduced. At the same time, up to 20% higher torque can be transmitted.
Good to know: Hex-Plus tools fit into every standard d hexagon socket screw! The spherical output profiles make it possible to deflect or pivot the tool axis to the screw axis, so that screwing can be done "around the corner", so to speak.
