The Timco Concrete Screws from ITS are finished in zinc plating for improved corrosion resistance.
They use a TX30 (Torx) drive recess, which helps reduce camming-out and minimizes driver wear. The screw head is flat countersunk, and is fitted with five locking ribs under the head to provide grip against the surface and prevent loosening.
For performance, the screw features serrated V-threads for efficient cutting into masonry, and a high/low thread profile on the top 30 mm to ease insertion, reduce torque demand, and improve pull-out resistance.
It’s intended as a through fixing solution - replacing conventional masonry fixings (such as nylon plugs and hammer fixings) - that can anchor into concrete, brick, block, stone and wood.
Because it’s all steel and non-flammable, it complies with fire safety requirements under BS 7671 (18th edition) for supporting wiring systems in case of fire.
