The Paslode IM65 Second Fix 7.4V Finishing Nail Gun from ITS is a compact, quick and durable finish nailer with a no-mar tip to enable precise fixing.
To avoid confusion between this and the IM6A5 – this is the straight version which is compatible with 16-63mm nails yet still firing with 30Joules of impact force.
It is designed for professional tradesmen, thanks to the sheer power this tool provides. It provides extended work periods with up to 10,000 shots between charges and an optimum line of sight.
Designed for applications such as door stops, tongue and groove panelling, architraves, window casing, dado rail, skirting boards, beading, stair rails, cladding under roofs and many others.
The optimised nose design and clear line of sight provides easy access in the event of a jam while the distinctive angled magazine has been designed specifically for precision when working in corners and tight spaces
For your safety, the Paslode IM65 features a Last Nail Lock Out System which will stop the nail gun from firing when the magazine is empty thus preventing damage to both materials as well as the nail gun.

What is a Brad Nailer?
What is a Brad Nailer?
Brad nailers are most likely the most popular type of nailer, often referred to as either "2nd Fix" or "Finishing" nailers. These nailers fire "Brad Nails", which are heavier in gauge (Diameter), than pin nailers. Brad nails also tend to have a small head, and sometines a serrated shank. as a result, brad nails tend to have considerably more holding power than pins. Most common uses include things like attaching skirting boards, door trims, heavier mouldings or furniture assembly work.
You will also see both "Straight" and "Angled" versions of brad nailers available and it can be a bit of a head-scratcher deciding which may be best for you.
Angled nailers can get into corners far more easily which can be a huge advantage depending on the application but can be a little more restrictive in terms of the sizes of nails they can fire (EG 32mm to 64mm), straight nailers may struggle to get right into that corner, but will normally give you more nail size options, often being able to fire nails from a shorter starting point, (eg. 16m to 64mm).
Although Brad nailers fire a heavier gauge nail than pin nailers, the hole they leave behind on the workpiece is still relatively small and easy to fill for a great finish.
Brad nails most commonly have a gauge of around 16-18.
