The Makita PT001GZ 40V XGT Brushless Pin Nail Gun from ITS has been designed for quick fastening with pins from 15 to 35 mm with a thickness of 23 GA (0.6 mm).
Ideal for decorative frames, architraves and ornamental decorations, the nail gun includes and updated driving spring that shortens the time required to compress and release the spring, providing drastically quicker firing.
The low recoil mechanism enables easier nailing of long pins without pushing down the pin nailer firmly. This increases the speed of working and can reduce fatigue when doing repetitive jobs.
The nailer is equipped with a security mechanism that prevents accidental pin firing. Additional features include a trigger lock and driving depth adjustment.
The nose tip has been designed to provide a clear view of the nose against the surface while the body has been ergonomically designed to ensure high user comfort.
The PT001 is IP56 rated meaning that it can be used outside as well as inside with dust and shower-proof construction while the LED job light allows for better visibility in low light situations with pre-glow and after-glow function.
At the heart of this is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.

SHOP THE XGT RANGEPin nailers are generally smaller, lighter-weight nailers. Sometimes known as "Headless Pinners", "Pin Guns" or "23 Gauge Nailers". As the name would suggest, they fire "Pins" rather than "Nails".
Pins tend to be headless and of a very small gauge (diameter), meaning they are not really ideal for applications where holding power is needed. Pin nailers are mainly used for fine finishing applications such as furniture making, attaching decorative mouldings, assembling picture frames or fastening delicate materials, veneers or trim to pieces of furniture.
Often pin nails are used in conjunction with adhesives to hold mouldings in place while they set. Very little evidence is left behind on the workpiece due to the lack of a head and the very small diameter of the pin, this makes it very easy to fill over the pinhole and achieve a great finish.
Common pin sizes tend to range from around 10mm through to around 50mm and are most commonly around 23 gauge.
