WHAT IS PAYPAL CREDIT?

PayPal Credit is like a credit card, without the plastic. It's a credit limit that sits alongside your PayPal account which you can use for your online purchases.

WHAT CREDIT OFFERS ARE AVAILABLE?

A 0% interest offer you can use again and again: PayPal Credit's 0% interest offer is better than just an introductory offer. Every time you spend £99 or more, you will automatically get 0% interest for 4 months on that purchase.

Plus, you can spread the cost of purchases under £99 at the standard variable rate of interest, currently 23.9% p.a.

*The minimum payment due still applies to 0% offer balances. Any remaining balance due after the 4-month promotional period or any transactions under £99 will be charged interest at 23.9% p.a. (variable). In order to maintain the 0% offer, you need to keep up monthly repayments and stay within your credit limit.

HOW DO I APPLY?

The application form takes minutes to complete. PayPal will then run a credit check and, if approved, you'll have a credit limit linked to your PayPal account as soon as you accept your Credit Agreement.

You can use the credit limit granted to pay for today's purchase and future purchases at thousands of online stores where PayPal is accepted, up to your credit limit.

DO I NEED TO RE-APPLY IF I ALREADY HAVE PAYPAL CREDIT?

Signing up for a PayPal account is free and easy; all you need to do is provide your email address, create a password and accept PayPal's User Agreement.

WHAT DO I DO IF I AM UNSUCCESSFUL IN APPLYING FOR PAYPAL CREDIT?

If you have been declined for PayPal Credit, PayPal will send you more information about why your application was unsuccessful. You can still use PayPal to complete your purchase.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO RETURN THE ITEM I BOUGHT USING MY PAYPAL CREDIT?

Just return your purchase as normal and the money will be refunded to your PayPal Credit account.

WHAT IS THE COST OF PAYPAL CREDIT OUTSIDE OF PROMOTIONAL OFFERS?

The Makita DBN501ZJ 18V LXT Brushless 18Ga Brad Nailer from ITS is a cordless finishing nailer designed for second fix carpentry, trim work, mouldings, panelling and other interior finishing jobs.

Powered by a single Makita 18V LXT battery, this brad nailer uses a pneumatic spring mechanism to deliver a feel similar to a pneumatic nailer without the need for an air hose or compressor.

It accepts 18Ga brad nails from 15mm to 50mm, making it ideal for a wide range of fixing tasks. The magazine holds up to 110 nails, helping reduce downtime between reloads.

The slim nose design improves access and visibility when working on detailed finishing applications, while the depth adjustment lets you control the nail depth to suit the material.

Sequential or bump-fire operation gives you the choice between careful single shot placement or faster repeat fixing. The anti-dry fire mechanism helps protect the tool and workpiece when the magazine is empty.

A built-in LED job light illuminates the work area, while Makita’s XPT technology gives improved dust and water resistance for tougher site conditions.

The brushless motor allows for improved operational performance, enhanced battery life and substantially reduced need for maintenance. The brushless technology allows for better communication between tool and battery, thus allowing better use of power, making sure that the battery is not overloaded.

What is a Brad Nailer?

Brad nailers are most likely the most popular type of nailer, often referred to as either "2nd Fix" or "Finishing" nailers. These nailers fire "Brad Nails", which are heavier in gauge (Diameter), than pin nailers. Brad nails also tend to have a small head, and sometines a serrated shank. as a result, brad nails tend to have considerably more holding power than pins. Most common uses include things like attaching skirting boards, door trims, heavier mouldings or furniture assembly work.

You will also see both "Straight" and "Angled" versions of brad nailers available and it can be a bit of a head-scratcher deciding which may be best for you.

Angled nailers can get into corners far more easily which can be a huge advantage depending on the application but can be a little more restrictive in terms of the sizes of nails they can fire (EG 32mm to 64mm), straight nailers may struggle to get right into that corner, but will normally give you more nail size options, often being able to fire nails from a shorter starting point, (eg. 16m to 64mm).

Although Brad nailers fire a heavier gauge nail than pin nailers, the hole they leave behind on the workpiece is still relatively small and easy to fill for a great finish.

Brad nails most commonly have a gauge of around 16-18.
