The Milwaukee M18 FQID FUEL SURGE 18V Brushless ¼” Hydraulic Impact Driver from ITS is a powerful yet impressively quiet tool thanks to the Fluid Drive System.
The Fluid Drive hydraulic powertrain reduces metal on metal contact within the tool, delivering quieter operation, smoother performance and increased durability over a standard impact. However, despite it being quiet, it still delivers the same, like-for-like performance of standard impact drivers when used for wood fastening.
The ¼” Hex chuck allows for quick and easy bit change while the LED work light illuminates your work area clearly to ensure perfect results.
Thanks to the inclusion of the brushless motor along with an all metal gearbox and gears, the driver delivers a 4-Mode drive control that lets you shift between four different speeds and torque settings, to ensure the driver’s versatility. The driver includes a self-tapping screw mode which reduces the ‘walking effect’ when you start the driver, as well as reducing overdriving, breaking and stripping out of those screws.
The driver has a no load speed of up to 3000rpm, impact rate of 4000ipm and a max torque of 50Nm. This low vibration power tool is capable of working with a max. bolt diameter of M14.
The tool includes three of Milwaukee’s exclusive technologies all for your benefit. The POWERSTATE Brushless motor helps maintaining the tool and ensures a longer operational life; the REDLITHIUM Battery packs which provide exceptional power for longer; and the REDLINK PLUS overload protection – maximising the power you need when you need it.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the drill efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
For your convenience, the driver also includes an on-board fuel gauge to monitor the battery capacity, as well as an all metal reversible belt clip so that you can keep the driver close by.
