The Trend Hinge Jig is a portable template designed for recessing hinges in wooden doors and frames. It is easy to use with minimal setting up time
The Trend Hinge Jig has four apertures for fire door requirments. Quick and simple to set up as the hinge is used as the pattern with clean and accurate recesses are achieved every time.
Suitable for timber based doors and square butt hinge, the jig can be used with most routers although a Unibase may be required for some routers.
Hinge sizes possible Length min: 67mm, Length max: 127mm.
Width min: 9.5mm, Width max: 35mm.
Door sizes Height min 1955mm, max 2100mm

This tool features a spring-loaded high-speed steel (HSS) anvil that delivers sharp cuts and ensures long-lasting performance. Its lightweight aluminium body makes it easy to handle, reducing fatigue during extended use. Simply position the chisel in the corner of the recess and strike it with a hammer to achieve a precise 90-degree angle.
The Trend C/CHISEL is ideal for squaring hinge recesses in door frames and edges, as well as lock faceplates. It's compatible with the Trend Hinge Jig and can be resharpened, ensuring it remains a reliable tool in your kit for years to come.
The Trend TR12X1/4TC 12mm x 19mm 1/4" Two Flute Cutter from ITS gives a clean finish to abrasive materials such as chipboard, MDF, plywood and certain hardwoods.
Teflon coated, micro grain tungsten carbide tipped cutters for cutting the most abrasive materials to give extra long life.
Ideal for use with Trend hinge & lock jigs. When using with lock jig you may need to use an auger drill bit to deepen the mortise.
