The Timco High Tensile Grade 8.8 Threaded Bar from ITS is a high-tensile, zinc-plated threaded bar with a specification of M12 × 1,000 mm, manufactured to Grade 8.8 in carbon steel.
It is fully threaded along its length (DIN 975 standard) and is commonly used with drop-in anchors for ceiling suspension (e.g. cable trays) or cut to size and used with chemical resins for strong fixings.
Each bar features a zinc (bright) plating finish to provide moderate corrosion protection. The ends of the bar are painted yellow to help identify its grade and distinguish it from other bar types.
Because it’s a robust, high-tensile bar, it’s suitable for structural and load-bearing use when properly anchored, and its full threading allows maximum flexibility in positioning nuts, anchors or couplers along its length.
