The Timco Fine Thread Drywall Screws from ITS are professional-quality fixings specifically designed for securing plasterboard to light gauge metal stud and ceiling track systems up to 0.6mm thick.
Manufactured from hardened carbon steel and finished with a durable dark grey phosphate coating, these screws deliver fast installation, exceptional holding power and a clean, professional finish.
Ideal for drylining contractors, builders, partition installers and general tradespeople, they combine precision engineering with reliable performance to ensure secure plasterboard installations across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Designed to comply with BS EN 14566:2008, these screws provide the quality and consistency demanded by professional users.
The fine 60° twin-thread design has been optimised for fixing into thin steel sections, providing excellent pull-out resistance while driving quickly and efficiently into metal framework.
The closely spaced thread grips securely without damaging the substrate, allowing installers to achieve dependable fixings with minimal effort. Combined with a sharp 25° point, the screws penetrate metal track rapidly without wandering, improving installation speed and reducing user fatigue during high-volume boarding work.
A precision-engineered bugle head ensures the screw seats neatly beneath the plasterboard surface without tearing or damaging the paper facing.
The gently curved underside distributes pressure evenly as the screw is driven, creating a smooth recessed finish that is ready for taping, filling and decorating. This helps achieve a professional-quality finish while reducing the likelihood of costly repairs caused by overdriving or paper damage.
Each screw features a PH2 Phillips recess that provides excellent bit engagement and reliable torque transfer, helping minimise cam-out during installation.
The positive drive allows fast, controlled fixing using both manual screwdrivers and cordless screwdrivers, making the screws equally suitable for small repairs and large-scale drylining projects
Manufactured from carbon steel with a dark grey phosphate finish, these drywall screws are intended for internal applications in clean, dry, low-humidity environments. The phosphate coating reduces friction during installation while offering corrosion resistance suitable for internal drylining work. Achieving Fire Classification A1, they meet recognised safety standards and are designed to perform reliably throughout the life of the installation.
