The Paslode 360Xi Gas First Fix Framing Nail Gun Black Edition from ITS is a powerful, reliable and highly efficient first fix nail gun designed for professional carpenters, roofers, timber framers and general contractors.

Combining an impressive 105 Joules of driving power with advanced lithium ion battery technology and a weatherproof fuel cell system, this professional framing nailer delivers exceptional fastening performance without the restrictions of air hoses, compressors or mains power.

As Paslode's most powerful framing nailer, the 360Xi delivers an outstanding power to weight ratio, generating enough impact force to drive 90mm ring shank nails into demanding timber substrates. Compatible with 50mm to 90mm framing nails, it provides excellent versatility for roof battening, timber framing, stud walls, truss assembly, floor boarding, decking, cladding and general construction applications.

The high performance lithium ion battery delivers up to 13,000 fixings from a single charge, while rapid charging technology provides enough power for approximately 200 shots in just two minutes.

A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes, helping minimise interruptions and maintain productivity during large installation projects.

Designed for demanding site conditions, the weatherproof fuel cell system provides dependable performance in temperatures as low as minus 15°C.

Each fuel cell delivers approximately 1,100 fixings at minus 5°C, making the 360Xi particularly suitable for outdoor construction and roofing applications throughout the colder months.

The quick release magazine holds up to 47 nails and is designed to simplify clearing nail jams, reducing downtime. An integrated last nail lockout system prevents firing when the magazine is empty, protecting the tool and surrounding materials from unnecessary damage.

For example, a roofing contractor installing timber battens across a large roof structure can use the 360Xi to drive secure fixings quickly and consistently without dragging compressor hoses across the roof.

Its cordless design improves mobility, while the powerful driving mechanism and adjustable depth control help achieve accurate nail placement. This saves installation time, reduces physical effort and helps deliver a consistent professional finish.

The rotating depth of drive adjuster allows users to control nail embedment for clean, flush fastening across different timber applications. Combined with its robust construction and dependable gas powered operation, the 360Xi provides the performance required for intensive professional use.

What is a Framing Nailer?

What is a Framing Nailer?

Framing nailers are also referred to as 1st fix nailers.

These are much more of a construction tool, very popular, and definitely not suitable for anything where a fine finish is needed. These nailers can be heavy, and they need to be in order to be able to pack the punch required to fire such large nails into tougher timber.

The most common applications would be any type of timber framing assembly work, such as constructing timber stud walls, roofing, building decking bases or fencing. It's the rough and tough end of the nail gun world. Large, heavy-duty nails with significant holding power are what you can expect here, don't expect a discrete impression of where the nail has been fired either, you are going to know where this nailer has been.

Common nail sizes tend to range from around 50mm to as much as 100mm with some models.

It's also likely you'll have a choice of nail type to suit your application, EG, a standard "Bright Nail" for indoor applications where moisture and rust aren't a problem, all the way through to galvanised nails and even sometimes stainless steel nails for those applications where you really do need to be confident rust is never going to be an issue down the road.

Nails are normally "clipped head" and are often available with a "Ringed Shank" for extra holding power. Typically, nails will be around 2.8mm to 3.1mm in diameter.
