The Makita UX01G 40V MAX XGT Brushless Split Shaft from ITS is the start of a garden multi-function tool with range of separate attachments that will make working in gardens incredibly easy.
Instead of buy separate tools, simply buy the appropriate attachment for the job, such as brush cutter, cultivator, hedge trimmer, power brush, pole saw and more. Attachments can easy to attach and doesn’t require any additional tools.
Designed for working over longer periods, this machine signals the start of a detailed system. Supplied with a comfortable shoulder strap, the split shaft also loop handle that allows for precise control.
The split shaft includes overload protection as well as variable speed control, along with a reverse switch to assist in removing grass clippings. The split shaft features Active Feedback sensing technology which will shut down the machine if the rotation of the attachment suddenly slows or stops due to resistance, thereby protection you, the split shaft as well as any attachment.
At the highest setting, the split shaft delivers a max 9700rpm no load speed with up to 1000W output. The split shaft is also IPX4 level water resistancy ensuring that you can continue working regardless of the weather.

To add attachment - Push the selected attachment into the female connector until it locks in place.
To remove attachment - Press the red button on the shaft and pull the attachment out from the female connector.

Makita's AFT is a Smart function to minimise the effect of kick-back. AFT will Shut down the tool, if the rotation speed suddenly slows down (e.g., kick-back). Active Feedback sensing Technology uses an on-board accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.
