“If music be the food of the love, play on” said Shakespeare.  And with the Makita MR014G XGT/LXT Job Site Bluetooth Speaker from ITS, the choice of music, podcast, playlist, even karaoke (we’ll come to that later), is entirely yours.

This beautifully compact speaker, delivering a light show along with crystal clear audio, should be part of your on site equipment. Run from your choice of three different power sources, it will work with 18V LXT batteries, 40V XGT batteries as well as direct from the mains (Mains cable is supplied).  This simply means that no matter where you are, whatever Makita tool you’re using, you can play your tunes for a relaxing day on the tools.

The MR014G speaker delivers incredible quality sound, and thanks to the equaliser, you can adjust levels to suit your choice of music.  The colour LCD on the top lets you clearly see how the speaker is set up and what it is connected to.  Internally, the speaker includes 140mm woofer, 40mm tweeter, 2 x 100mm passive radiator which delivers 20W of high quality radio

This particular Makita Bluetooth speaker, with a guaranteed 30m Bluetooth range, also includes True Wireless Stereo function which will let you connect to a second MR014G Speaker to deliver stereo sound.  But if that’s not enough, if you’re in a large space, you can connect up to 10 other Bluetooth speakers to ensure that everyone can enjoy some tunes.

Speaking of connectivity, the speaker features an AUX-in socket which means you are able to connect older music devices by cable as well as a USB socket so that you can charge up your devices while listening to audio.  And if you’re using your phone, you can simply angle the handle so that your phone sites comfortable in its holder and doesn’t fall out.

When the batter cover and terminal covers are closed, the speaker is IP65 rated for both dust and shower proof protection.

Now that you’ve made it this far….the MR014G Bluetooth speaker ALSO has a 6.3mm / ¼” Microphone socket.  Now….if you’re on site, and you’ve connected multiple speakers, the logical thing is that the microphone can be used to pass messages to the whole team in one go.

But you and I both know, that as soon as a banging tune comes on, you are going to grab that microphone, take a deep breath and belt it out.  And there are more than a few karaoke apps you can download or even use YouTube.
