The Makita MP001GZ 40V XGT Inflator from ITS is a surprisingly versatile and dynamic tool, not just for inflating tyres.
Impressively powerful by delivering a maximum pressure of 11.1Bar, the inflator is capable of discharging air at a rate of up to 24 litres per minute (at 200kPa) which is adjustable over three different settings.
Supplied with a number of adapters, the inflator includes a length 65cm cord as well as integrated LED work light so that you can continue to work in low light situations.
For ease and convenience, the inflator has a backlit display to set and read pressure, a memory function for the last set pressure and will automatically stop once a pressure level has been reached. Capable of 10minutes of continuous use before shutting down, a thermostat will turn the inflator off to protect it against over-heating.
The four adapters that come with the inflator are:
- Adapter for bicycle (Dunlop) valve.
- Adapter for French (Presta) valve.
- Needle for eg football.
- Conical reducer for valves of inflatable toys such as swimming ring or beach ball.
The high speed mode is suitable for Road Bike, Car, Truck, Tractor. An air release function will carefully release air to prevent over inflation (not available when using the British adaptor).
