Thanks to the brushless motor, this automatic chain lubricating chainsaw delivers an impressive chain speed of 20 m/s with a low vibration threshold of 3.6 m/s².  Powered by two 18V LXT batteries working in series, the DUC562 Chainsaw includes a torque boost mode that increases the power for a short burst to tackle tough branches.

With variable speed control, the Makita DUC256 Chainsaw also includes an electric brake as well as soft start to prevent the jumping effect of trying to reach full power.
