The Makita DJV185Z 18V LXT Brushless Jigsaw from ITS is a versatile, efficient and reliable cutting tool with Soft No-Load that allows for more accurate starting on the cutting line.
Incorporating a barrel handle design for easy control and operation, this jigsaw allows you to work with a wide range of materials to get the best results. With adjustable speeds to cut different materials, the jigsaw offers three orbital settings along with a straight cutting setting.
The DJV185Z is equipped with a number of features to ensure perfect results including electric brake, constant speed control so that the saw remains at speed, even under load. Blades can be changed without the need for any additional tools – a hot blade can even be changed with just one finder using the click system.
For your added safety, along with the electric brake, the jigsaw includes an anti-restart function in case of power failure, as well as dedicated dust extraction port to remove cuttings from the cut line. This can be connected to an external dust extractor for effective cleaning while working.
The jigsaw is versatile enough to work with steel and aluminium (with the appropriate blades) as well as being able to be used at various angles, including overhead/upside down. So much so, that the LED light reduction function reduces the glare from the light so that you can easily see the cut line and result as you work.
Thanks to the inclusion of the brushless motor, the Makita DJV185Z Jigsaw is capable of making up to 175 cuts on a single charged battery.*
