The Makita BO007CGZ 40V XGT 93 x 185mm Brushless Orbit Sander from ITS is a lightweight and versatile sheet sander with an external battery connection.
Unlike other similar style sanders, the BO007G’s battery unit is at the end of an adapter unit that can be clipped to your belt. By doing so, it massively reduces the size and weight of the sander which results in better manoeuvrability and control.
From the top of sander to the sanding pad, it is only 99mm in height ensuring that as a compact tool, you are given the freedom to easily move it around your work surface.
The speed of the sander won’t lessen, even under load thereby providing consistent performance. Supplied with a pad saver, this prevents clogging of the sander resulting in continuous operation.
Thanks to the inclusion of the brushless motor, the BO007G delivers 6000-10,000 rpm no load speed with a 2.0mm eccentric action. Dust is collected neatly into the supplied dust bag, although an external dust extractor can be connected for efficient extraction.
Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) allows the connection to a compatible dust extractor for automatic start-up and shut down via Bluetooth. This saves time and power – using only what is required.

Using Makita's cordless LXT dust extractors with a AWS compatible extracto means no more re-plugging the cord.
