Powered by the multi-brand CAS battery system, the jigsaw not only delivers incredible precision, but has been developed to push the limits, and even overcome those limitations, to ensure uncompromising output and convenience.

With its low centre of gravity and exceptionally stable and broad baseplate, the PS 2-18 rests squarely and securely work piece and thus ensures maximum precision.

The ergo-balance principle is all about the user. Among the ergonomic design elements underpinning the ergo-balance principle are soft non-slip surfaces and careful weight distribution. In consequence, the PS 2-18 is easy to hold and control even in awkward situations.

The Mafell PS2-18 Jigsaw utilises the innovative CUMax sawblade clamping system – a system that securely holds the blade in place without the need for additional tools.  Thanks to the locking lever, blades can be changed with ease while ensuring that deformed blades are a thing of the past.

Supplied with a four-function parallel fence, it not only provides perfect straight cuts but will provide additional stability when working close to the edge of the workpiece.

The separate tilting baseplate allows absolutely precise bevel cuts within the range of +/– 45°.  Two high-quality LEDs provide the best possible view of work piece. To avoid reflection when sawing underneath the work, the lighting switches itself off.

The next time the saw is used on top of the bench, the smart lighting comes back on. Tapping three times on the front of the saw toggles between the lighting modes.

Impressively lightweight, the Mafell jigsaw delivers a variable no load speed of 750-3100 stokes per minute with a stroke length of 26mm.
