The Festool KHC 18 18V Brushless SDS+ Hammer Drill from ITS is one of the most versatile and durable tools that you’ll come across.
Not only does this deliver 2.6joules of impact energy, not only does it include a brushless motor, but it is supplied with two accessory chucks – one that will work with any SDS+ drill bit while the other is a 13mm keyless chuck that will work with a massive range of general use drill and screwdriving bits.
Whether hammer drilling, screwdriving, chiselling or drilling without impact, the option of modes delivers an improved level of versatility. Each mode is easily selected as can the rotation direction.
For your safety, the KHC 18 includes an electronic KickbackStop which prevents your wrist from twisting dangerously if the drill suddenly becomes caught or jammed. Additionally, the vibration damper absorbs and eliminates energy before it can be transferred to the hands of the user. The combination with an ergonomic handle provides additional support for powerful applications.
Thanks to the inclusion of the EC-TEC Brushless motor, the KHC 18 Hammer Drill is capable of drilling up to 18mm in concrete, stone and masonry. It provides up to 980rpm no load speed along with 4350bpm impact rate.
Such is the versatility of the drill, it can also be used for fastening scaffolding, mixing small quantities of paint, plaster, as well as the removal of tiles.
At the heart of the drill is the EC-TEC brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
