Powered by an EC-TEC brushless motor spinning at 5200rpm, the HKC 55 K pairs perfectly with Festool's 8.0Ah Li-HighPower batteries for extended runtime and exceptional cutting performance. The ultra-thin 1.6mm saw blade is specifically designed for cordless use, reducing resistance for smoother cuts and longer battery life.
The onboard KickbackStop system cuts power instantly in the event of blade jam or recoil, reducing the risk of injury and material damage. For extra control, the pendulum blade guard includes a remote-opening lever, letting you start plunge cuts while keeping your hands safely away from the blade.
A spring-loaded plunge mechanism and easy-to-read depth scale allow fast, repeatable settings up to 55mm at 90°, or 42mm at 45°, with angled mitres up to 50°. The integrated scribe mark system means your cutting line always stays aligned with the blade-perfect for fast, accurate trim work.
At the heart of this machine is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.

The slideway lining makes sure that your saw glides smoothly across the guide, while the retraction function returns the saw back to its starting point.
An adhesive cushion helps in keeping the guide rail in place without slipping. The rubber lip right at the scribe mark works as a splinter guard and prevents the edges from splintering even with angled cuts.
Perfect when you a chopsaw can't be used, this allows you to work efficiently getting the precise angle cut for wall panels, slats, frame pieces and more.
