Designed for outstanding mobility, this Festool cordless delta sander works without a cable or hose and combines a low profile design with balanced weight distribution, making it easier to work comfortably in awkward positions and hard to reach areas.
Powered by an 18V 3.0Ah Bluetooth Ergo battery and Festool’s brushless EC-TEC motor, the DTSC 400 delivers power similar to a mains powered machine while maintaining the freedom and convenience of cordless sanding.
With a speed range of 6000 to 10000rpm and a 2.0mm sanding stroke, it offers controlled, consistent material removal across a wide range of finishing and preparation tasks.
This sander is ideal for sanding paint and varnish on window frames, door frames, eaves, and other tighter areas where a delta sanding pad gives better access than a standard round pad.
Its 100x150mm interchangeable sanding pad and one handed design make it especially useful for tradesmen who need accuracy, comfort, and manoeuvrability when working on smaller surfaces.
For cleaner working, the integral dust extraction system can be used with the long life dust collection bag or connected to a Festool mobile dust extractor.
The Bluetooth battery communicates with compatible Festool dust extractors and can start the extractor automatically in Auto mode when the sander is switched on, helping maintain a cleaner and healthier workspace.
This set also includes a mains adaptor for unlimited run time during continuous electrical operation, giving you the flexibility to switch between cordless freedom and corded use depending on the job.
