Festool’s patented pendulum routing principle allows the cutter to rotate while moving from side to side, producing clean mortises with reduced kickback and no scorching.
The system combines the accuracy of a round dowel with the flexibility of a flat dowel.
Oval DOMINO tenons create a large gluing surface and help prevent joints from twisting, producing strong and discreet connections in panels, frames, drawers and furniture.
The DF 500 RQ accepts tenons from 4 x 20mm to 10 x 50mm.
A five-position depth stop provides routing depths of 12, 15, 20, 25 or 28mm, while the adjustable fence tilts from 0° to 90° for edge, corner and angled joints.
