Expensive
There are two versions of this battery . The pro core and the pro core plus . The latter is a lot more expensive than this already expensive item . From what I understand , the difference is in its interior construction . The cells are the same . The price reflects the desirability and not production costs because I find this model does get hot and requires 10 minutes before the charger will start charging . This battery has the same cells as the original batteries also , but again , due to the construction assembly , Bosch were able to get twice as many cells into the same size casing . This means the 8ah is the same size as the old 4ah but still twice as heavy. The old batteries were were the flagship rip off until the newer designs came along and now are half what they once cost . Remember , they have the same cells inside .
