Everything you need safely secured in a pack out box. Too many parts to buy separately and have rattling around in a crate. The tripod is low quality. Everything else works great.

Have to say its one of my favourite tools. I work in electrical construction and it makes work so easy for electrical containment install. The level has good powerful magnets which is good when attached to a metal stud. The beam is pretty powerful and the detector works great especially when you are working in a bright environment. Plenty of accessories to attach laser anywhere. The battery gives you 2 good days easy. The detector can be very sensitive when trying to get your level at long distances so a little more tolerance would be nice to enable a faster set up time. Also the magnets on detector are ok but could do with being a bit stronger as it can be accidentally knocked off position easily. Other than that i would recommend this tool as the kit package.

I'm really glad I chose to invest in this laser. I upgraded from a fairly bog standard DeWalt cross-line laser so the jump in price was pretty stark but the improved performance is reflected in the price. The body of the unit is very sturdy and feels much more secure than other lasers I've used in the past. The 360 lines and Right Angle functions are perfect for fitting furniture and kitchen cabinets, which is what I mainly use it for, though it's also great for levelling door linings and window frames. The micro adjustments, both left to right and up and down (with the appropriate attachment) are a bit of a game changer for me. Anyone who has tried to adjust a vertical laser line a couple of millimetres across a room by hand will know how frustrating this can be! The green laser is very bright and is visible for quite some distance even in pretty bright rooms. I rarely use lasers outside of domestic rooms so this line will always be visible at that scale. I haven't used the line detector yet, though I have made sure it works and I'm confident that the line will still be 'visible' when working in larger spaces and outside. The tripod is as good as any tripod of its type. It is fine for fitting out or building in domestic settings but if you're looking for something sturdy for foundations or steel erection then you'll probably need a better quality tripod. I've got a lot of Milwaukee kit so I'm confident that the 4 amp battery supplied with this kit will be more than enough power to keep the laser running a full work day. Finally, the Milwaukee 'Pack Out' tool boxes are brilliant. Extremely secure and far superior quality compared to other brands.
