With an ergonomically designed handle, this two in one grass shear includes a hedge trimmer shear blade which can be removed and attached easily.
The cutting height is adjustable in 3 stages, and the blades have a double side action.
The lock-off button is accessible from both sides of the shears, and includes a battery protection circuit which is designed to protect the battery from damages as a result of over-discharge, high temperature or current overload.

I bought this for my wife who needed a smaller lighter cutter for trimming shrubbery. When it arrived i changed the blade to the hedge cutter which was very easy to do. It has been used several times over the last few days and my wife is very happy with it. As i have several tools using 18v lxt batteries it made sense to buy this and as usual with Makita products it does the hob well.

Nice little unit, but I suggest downloading the manual and read that before purchasing because some of the details aren't really true. For example - "tool-less blade change", if you change from or to the trimmer blade you need to use a screwdriver. Cutting height is fixed. It's only adjustable (3 heights) if you have an optional accessory which is not included.
