It features an anti-dry fire mechanism that locks the trigger, to protect the workpiece from damages when the magazine is empty or almost empty.
This model has sequential and contact actuation (bump firing), single sequential actuation that drives one staple by one and also contact actuation that drives the staples repetitively.
The DST112Z has an onboard LED job light to effectively illuminate the working area and a handy battery fuel gauge to indicate the charge level.
