The Makita DSC251ZK 18V LXT Brushless Steel Rod Cutter from ITS is for threaded rods as well as for rebar.
A powerful brushless motor produces a max 2200rpm no load speed, while Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation.
At the heart of this rod cutter is a brushless motor that allows you to use the machine efficiently.
As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
The cutter incorporates a flangeless 110mm blade for excellent edge cutting and can be cut at 3.5mm from the ground/surface, max 10-25mm cutting capacity (Rebar).
Highly visible heavy-duty fluorescent material guide and battery fuel gauge are also included in this cutter’s features.
For you comfort, the hand grip can be positioned in 3 places while a dust bag for chip powder collection removes debris from the cut.
Surface treatment of base cover prevents abrasion at cutting while the cutter leaves a smooth nut mounting without debarring.
