Fantastic bit of kit, heavy but...
Tool is brilliant, had a 1000 or so 12mm holes to put in some purlins and this was perfect. It's heavy and only comes with a 12mm punch and die, and to get other sets is expensive, plus you have to buy the parts separately. Although there are a few slotted tools available which is great, but the slot is only available one way, I.e. you can't have the slot running front to back only side to side. The slug comes out easy enough, but sometimes needs poking out, important to note, the oil in the kit is for top up of the hydraulics...NOT for cutting. I'd recommend reading the instructions on this, even if like me your one to throw in the draw or bin normally. The fault finding is good, I thought I'd had an issue when it stopped working, only to find out that a slug had stopped it retracting fully. Disconnected the pump( simple flick of a lever) release the slug and away to go. I do a bit in food factories and this will be a godsend in avoiding swarf as the slugs are one piece and easy to see.
