Lightweight and compact, the Makita DJV180RME 18V Lithium-ion cordless jigsaw complete kit has everything you need.
The DJV180RME jigsaw is equipped with a tool-less blade change allowing for faster blade removal and replacement for increased productivity and a built in job light that creates an easy to trace cutting line for use in low visibility applications.
It features a 3 position orbital action settings plus straight cutting for use in a wide range of materials, cutting up to 135mm into wood and 10mm into metal with a 26mm stroke length. The square shaft allows for orbital action whilst eliminating side-to-side movement.
It includes an onboard hex wrench for fast, accurate bevel adjustments, built-in dust extraction nozzle, cover plate & anti-splinter guard.
The compact and lightweight 2.8kg design of the DJV180RME makes it ideal for use on site, whilst the ergonomic soft grip handle provides maximum comfort reducing user fatigue and providing greater tool control.
The Makita DJV180RME is supplied with 2 x 4.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries, 36 minute charger and stackable carry case.
The Makita DJV180RME uses Lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages, the batteries have no memory effect allowing them to be recharged before they are completely discharged. Up to 40% lighter than a NICD or NIMH battery, Lithium-ion batteries have a 22 minute charge time with air cooled Makstar Optimum Charging System together with a greater life span giving 430% greater run time providing increased productivity.
