The Dewalt DCN890 18V XR Brushless Concrete Nailer from ITS is a powerful tool that has the capability to drive nails into both steel and concrete.
The nailer offers three speed control (13000, 14000 & 15000 rpm) to optimise the nailer for firing all lengths of nails, accepting a 13mm-57mm nail range and 30 nail magazine capacity.
Sequential operating mode allows for precision placement and the rapid operating mode provides the user with production speed as well as benefiting from longer runtime, quicker readiness to fire, less recoil and more durability when firing short nails.
As a battery-powered tool, this is completely mechanical rather than gas operation which delivers consistent performance at temperature between -20° & 50° and minimal cleaning/service requirements.
The system includes 3 specifically designed nose pieces: DCN8902 (magnetic) and DCN8903 (non-magnetic) for clips; DCN8904 (drywall) for tracking.

What is a Concrete Nailer?
This is very much a specialist professional nailer, sometimes known as a "Powder Actuated Tool" or "PAT" or generically known as a "Hilti Gun" or a "Ramset Gun" should you opt for the versions which utilise explosive cartridges. These nailers are also now available in gas-fired, or more recently, battery-only powered versions.
These nailers are used in construction applications where there is a need to fix hard materials such as steel to substrates such as masonry or concrete. Very common uses would be tasks such as fixing metal stud wall frames to concrete or hanging electrical trunking from pre-cast concrete.
Common nail sizes tend to range from around 25mm to 100mm but come in many varieties to suit a multitude of different applications and will vary depending on the material you want to fire through, or into.
