The Dewalt DCH417 54V XR FLEXVOLT Brushless SDS+ Hammer Drill is not only an impressively powerful tool that offers 4.5J of impact energy, but also connects to Wireless Tool Control devices such as an extractor for automatic activation and shut down.
The drill has a category-leading high speed drilling performance at more than 74 holes (18mm Ø x 80mm) with a fully charged battery. For you to have complete control, the drill includes three operating modes including rotation stop mode for light plaster and render chiselling, an impact stop mode for wood and metal rotary drilling, and a rotary hammer drilling mode for tackling concrete.
Powerful 725rpm max no load speed produces an impressive 4200bpm delivering 4.5J impact energy, ideal for drilling anchors and fixing holes into concrete, brick & masonry up to 32mm. The drill also includes a quick release SDS-Plus toolholder and keyless chuck supplied for easy switching between hammer / rotary hammer and rotary only applications.
Featuring rotation stop mode for light chiselling in plaster, tiles and render and impact stop mode for rotary only drilling in wood and metal with a max drilling capacity of 30mm into concrete, 26mm into wood & 13mm into metal.
Carrying the 'Perform & Protect' shield means the DCH417 has passed rigorous testing to ensure it exceeds the highest demands in the toughest environments, whilst still maintaining an emphasis on safety, offering best-in-class vibration at 6.3m/s², minimising user fatigue. The bright white LED with delay feature improves visibility in low light situations.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the drill efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
