The Wiha 38637 3 Piece VDE Industrial Pliers Set from ITS contains a VDE Diagonal Cutter 160mm, a VDE Long Nose Plier 160mm and a VDE Combination Plier 180mm.

All are suitable for safe working around voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500 V DC, having been individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts.

The VDE diagonal cutters are ideal for cutting both soft and hard wires and cables.

The VDE Long Nose Pliers are designed for gripping and holding as well as cutting medium wire up to 2.5mm and hard wires up to 1.6mm.

The VDE Combination Pliers are designed for gripping and holding as well as cutting both hard and soft wires.

Pliers in this set feature the Wiha Dynamic Joint that required 40% less force for cutting, ensuring optimal transmission of the hand strength to the cutting edges. The low expenditure of energy thanks to the Dynamic Joint is especially advantageous when cutting a large number of hard objects. It also lengthens the life of the tool.

The joint is extremely wear resistant and can withstand high stresses, and is secured with high quality riveting.  The handles are made from a lightweight, fibreglass reinforced plastic which is extremely strong and impact resistant.

All of the metal parts have a polished finish and have been coated to protect against corrosion giving you a tool that will last much longer.
