The Trend T8EK 2200W 1/2'' Dual Mode Speed Router from ITS is a high quality and trade-focused router for table use.
Ideal for lock morticing, kitchen fitting, worktop jointing and timber profiling, the T8 EK Plunge Router offers a range of features that make this one of the industry's most sought after power tool.
Driven by a powerful 2200W motor, the router provides an incredible power-to-weight ratio that delivers smooth as well as effortless handling. With an 80mm plunge depth, this mains powered cutter also features a micro-adjustable side fence with adjustable facings and 0.1mm increments for pin-point edge rebating, grooving and moulding.
The precision centring system delivers concentricity between cutter and guide bush for pinpoint accuracy with routing jigs. With 11 level variable speed control, the ½” router includes Constant Speed Control which monitors the spindle RPM and adjusts automatically to maintain cutter speed for smooth and consistent cuts.
An extra wide base aperture easily accommodates over sized cutters such as panel raisers, while the Vertical Extraction Spout prevents extraction hoses from ‘snagging’ on jigs and materials.
A 7-Position Rotating Turret with pre-set plunge depth limits for fast, repeatable batch and stepped cutting while the fine height adjuster, with easy to read display, allows precision depth adjustments - 1 rotation equals 2mm heigh adjustment.
Twin LED Work-lights let you see the cutting area with ease as well as increases safety as well as accuracy in lowlight situations. The inclined handles, ergonomically designed feature the power trigger while the soft grip moulding allows for comfortable control and operation
