Perfect blades for tough...
My steel bath is now waiting for collection, in six pieces, as is it was far too heavy for me to carry down the stairs. These blades were perfect the job and I felt very safe using them as they are thicker and far tougher than normal metal cutting blades, though PPE is essential as these are serious tools. It still takes a bit of effort in terms of applying adequate pressure to the blade and angling it to stop kickbacks. I found out that it is better to start a small cut on the rim on the bath and then a second one nearby for the final cut, this stops the blade from getting stuck or kicking back and makes the rest of the cut easier. I'm not surprised emergency services use these blades, I only used one for the bath job and it looks like it still has plenty of life in it.
