The Makita UR016GZ 40V XGT Brushless Brush Cutter from ITS is a 330mm cutter that includes a hollow drive shaft to minimise weight.

This incredibly powerful brush cutter is ideal for landscapers, council workers and highway maintenance teams.  Thanks to the bicycle-style handle bar, which includes control joystick, the cutter is easily controlled and operated.

Thanks to the design of this tool, it is perfectly balanced so that it can be used without strain.  It features constant speed control, soft start and for your safety, electric brake along with an anti-restart function in case of battery failure.  To further enhance the safety features of the tool, it also incorporates Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down

With three speed settings up to 6500rpm no load speed, the UR016GZ also includes an ADT mode - Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) meaning that this cutter intelligently adjusts its speed of rotation depending on the thickness of grass or brush its cutting.

At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently.  As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.

The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.

MAKITA AFT

Makita's AFT is a Smart function to minimise the effect of kick-back. AFT will Shut down the tool, if the rotation speed suddenly slows down (e.g., kick-back). Active Feedback sensing Technology uses an on-board accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.

Makita's ADT (Automatic torque Drive Technology) adjusts both the speed and torque of the tool for optimal pressure, even for the most demanding applications. During operation, if the tool is put under heavy load, Makita ADT Technology detects the added demand and applies more torque and speed to finish the job.
