The Makita UA004GZ 40V XGT Brushless Telescopic Pole Saw from ITS is a long reach garden tool with a 30cm cutting blade that lets you trim and tidy higher branches or hedges.

The high-speed pole saw is perfect for demanding situations and extends up to 3.8m to let you work on taller hedges or trees while keeping a sturdy footing on the ground.

Easy to handle, the 1500W pole saw delivers an impressive chain speed of up to 20m/s. A soft start function prevents the Makita Pole Saw from jumping to full power instantly.  The benefit of this is that if the saw is already at height, it prevents that sudden jump in power.  This means that you’re not taken by surprise which could potentially damage the hedges you’re working on.

Along with variable speed control, the UA004 also benefits from Makita’s Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool to protect the user if the chain speed suddenly slows down or stops.

For your protection, the Pole Saw includes a protection system that automatically shuts down the power when the battery level is too low.
