The Makita GA043GZ 40V XGT Brushless 115mm Angle Grinder from ITS is an impressively powerful grinder with X-LOCK mechanism that allows for quick and easy wheel change.
This grinder includes a paddle switch for your convenience. It also includes a tool-less wheel cover, electric brake and soft start which prevents the grinder from jumping when you turn it on.
With variable speed control, as well as anti-restart function, the grinder incorporates Makita’s Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down.
The Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) lets you connect to a compatible dust extractor with Bluetooth, this lets the dust extractor automatically run when the switch is on.
Changing cutting discs is fast and convenient thanks to the keyless X-LOCK system. X-LOCK cutting discs also fit standard angle grinders.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the barrow utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.

Makita's AFT is a Smart function to minimise the effect of kick-back. AFT will Shut down the tool, if the rotation speed suddenly slows down (e.g., kick-back). Active Feedback sensing Technology uses an on-board accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.

Makita’s AWS (Auto-Start Wireless System) uses Bluetooth technology for intelligent communication between your tools to eliminate cords, increase performance and reduce dust. Once connected via AWS, your dust extractor will automatically power on or off when your cordless tool starts or stops, running only when your cordless tool is in use.
