The Makita DUX60Z 36V (Twin 18V) LXT Brushless Split Shaft Multi-Function Power Kit from ITS is probably the most versatile garden machine you will ever need.
The 36V Brushless Split-Shaft Power Head is powered by 2 x 18V Batteries in series supplying energy to the powerful 36v DC motor drive system.
It features a high power 3-speed motor (Low/Medium/High) with a variable speed control trigger. Simple and easy to use one touch LED display system that allows the user to control the speed of the unit at the touch of a button.
An On/Off button with Auto-Off after one minute of no operation, automatically shutting the power off, as well as overload protection, electric brake, soft-start, reverse switch. Makita’s Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down, protecting the user.

To add attachment - Push the selected attachment into the female connector until it locks in place.
To remove attachment - Press the red button on the shaft and pull the attachment out from the female connector.

MAKITA AFT
Makita's AFT is a Smart function to minimise the effect of kick-back. AFT will Shut down the tool, if the rotation speed suddenly slows down (e.g., kick-back). Active Feedback sensing Technology uses an on-board accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.
