The Makita DUC101Z 18V LXT Brushless 100mm Pruning Saw from ITS is a compact, lightweight yet impressively powerful saw for pruning trees and shrubs.
Designed to help reduce pruning waste, this neat machine is also nifty at cutting planks, trunks and beams to length as well. The saw features a moveable guard that will open further the deeper you go into a branch thereby protecting you at all possible times.
Thanks to the compact design, the chains are designed to cut for longer and can be replaced with ease and without the need for any tools. The chain is automatically lubricated and can be manually tensioned easily.
Other features include an Electric brake for maximum productivity and increased operator safety, as well as eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) that is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions.
The DUC101 also includes battery protection circuitry which protects against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating, especially when under load.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
