The Makita DUA200Z 18V LXT Brushless 200mm Pole Saw from ITS is a long reaching, variable angle saw that provides efficient cutting results to higher up branches.
Instead of sitting or standing on top of a ladder, trying to hold a chainsaw or trimmer while also trying to keep balance, the pole saw lets you reach up to those distant branches from the safety of solid ground. Perfect for landscapers, tree surgeons and even home gardeners.
Effectively a chainsaw on the end of a pole, the DUA200 has a total length of 2.5metres giving you the opportunity to prune back annoying and unsightly branches with ease. Target the branch, adjust the angle of the saw head, reach, turn on, and the job’s a good’un.
With automatic lubrication to keep the chain moving swiftly, the DUA200 has a maximum speed of 6.7m/s, with a gauge of 0.043”, and pitch of 0.325”. An integrated branch hook helps you clear and move branches once cut while the slim head design helps with positioning as well as movement. The pole saw head can be set a number of positions over a 120° range.
At the heart of this pole saw is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
