The Makita CE002GZ01 80V (Twin 40V) XGT Brushless 355mm Power Cutter from ITS is an incredibly powerful machine that is comparable to a 70cc fuel driven cutter.
With the addition of XGT batteries, you no longer need to worry about careful fuel mixing, horrible exhaust fumes and increased noise. The Makita CE002 Power Cutter delivers all the power and performance but without the inconvenience of noise along with fumes.
Delivering up to 3.6kW of power, this brushless cutter offers a cutting depth of a maximum 127mm ensuring that it is comfortable in construction products as well as grinding in building works.
It offers an ideal solution to having to cut into natural stone floors, and thanks to the AWS system, can easily remove dust and debris at the point of cutting when used with a compatible dust extractor.
Thanks to the inclusion of the brushless motor, the Makita 355mm Power Cutter produces 4200rpm no load speed. The cutter also includes a soft start along with electronic brake for your safety. To further enhance the safety features of the tool, it also incorporates Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down.
The saw is equipped with Makita’s Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) for wireless communication between cordless machine and cordless vacuum cleaner. This allows a vacuum to automatically start at the same time as the saw – ensuring that the workpiece on area is clear of dust and debris.
At the heart of this Makita CE002GZ01 80V (Twin 40V) XGT Brushless 355mm Power Cutter is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. Makita's AFT is a Smart function to minimise the effect of kick-back. AFT will Shut down the tool, if the rotation speed suddenly slows down (e.g., kick-back). Active Feedback sensing Technology uses an on-board accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.
