The Makita AC001G 40V XGT Brushless Air Compressor from ITS is a lightweight and impressively portable compressor to be used with a select range of 18GA nail guns.
Developed primarily to used for interior nailing work, the AC001 is ideal for non-intensive working. The low-noise compressor has a rigid roll cage as part of its design to protect the motor and compression units when being transported to and from site.
The oil-free design along with brushless motor ensure low maintenance requirements allowing you to get on with the job at hand. With a maximum tank pressure of 9.3bar, tank capacity of 7.6L, this not only reaches full pressure within 2 minutes, but delivers a high sir flow rate of 34L/min at a pressure of 0.62Mpa.
To conserve power as well as ensuring your safety, the compressor features ‘Cut-In Pressure’ and ‘Cut-out Pressure’ controls:
Cut in pressure: While the motor is off, air tank pressure drops as you continue to use your accessory or air tool. When the tank pressure drops to a certain level, the motor will restart automatically.
Cut out pressure: When you turn on your air compressor, it begins to run, air pressure in the air tank begins to build. It builds to a certain pressure before the motor automatically shuts off protecting your air tank from pressure higher than its design rating.
In particular, this is ideal for the AF353, At638A, AF506 AF601 nail guns.
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.
