The Leica DISTO X6 R Distance Measurer from ITS is the worksite friendly, versatile and incredible precise laser measrue3r on the market today.

The X6-R has a 250m range, even in bright sunshine, with an accuracy of ± 1 mm.  For more precise measuring, the X6-R has a bright 2.4” LCD which displays a cross hair, as well as 4x digital zoom, so that you can be certain and precise over the distance.

Whether working indoors or outside, the X6 R laser ensures a fast start-up time, along with the IP65 rating to protect it against water, dust and impact resistancy. 

The high speed touch screen, enables the use to swipe, zoom, select and trigger measurements all from the screen.

The easy to use side button and automatic rotating display and the new Gesture measure method, simply move your hand across the laser and the measurement is triggered – simple and accurate.

At 250m (820ft) the range of the DISTO X6 exceeds the ability of the human eye to see the laser point, which makes it hard to take a measurement. The solution is a 4x zoom Digital Pointfinder camera. Place the crosshairs on your measuring point and measure with confidence.

Just because it works with CAD doesn’t mean the X6 can’t take a hit. This DISTO is both smart and tough, drop tested 2m. Wash it off with a hose: This with IP65 DISTO is protected from water and dust.

All measurements and results can be summarised in report files on the Leica DISTO X6 R directly on the construction site and downloaded later in the office via USB interface. This way, the measurement results can be quickly and easily integrated into quotations, invoices, etc. The extra-large memory allows the creation of up to 300 report files on the DISTO X6.

In the "Smart Horizontal Mode" the DISTO simultaneously measures the distance to the object and the tilt of the laser measure with only one click and then automatically calculates the precise horizontal distance. This function is very useful for precise horizontal measurements, especially over long distances, as the DISTO does not need to be aligned horizontally.

If construction material, walls, hedges or people are between the laser measure and the target, this function can be used as well. Simply measure over the obstacle and the exact horizontal distance appears on the display.

With the DISTO it is very easy to create a height profile in a landscape or calculate height differences in a building. The device is setup along the profile line you determine, and a reference point is measured to which the height differences should compare.

The individual points are then measured. For each measured point, both the height difference and the distance to the reference point are recorded. The height profile can then be drawn from these values in your preferred CAD software.
