The Hikoki NP18DSAL 18V 23 Gauge Pin Nailer from ITS is a powerful nail gun suitable for a range of jobs for both the DIYer and professional.
This battery powered gun eliminates the need for gasses, coils and cables getting in the way or limiting the distance you can use it.
The built in counterweight decreases the recoil to almost zero when firing. This means it is safer and more comfortable to use.
When used with a Hikoki 18V 3.0Ah Battery, this has the capability of firing up to 3000pins on a single charge.
The depth drive adjustment on the front end is keyless allowing you to change easily and without hassle. Ideal for delicate tasks like securing delicate moulding, interior millwork, cabinetry and other fine woodwork projects while working with plywood and softwood materials
The Nailer also has an LED Worklight so that you can see precisely where you are firing.

What is a Pin Nailer?
Pin nailers are generally smaller, lighter-weight nailers. Sometimes known as "Headless Pinners", "Pin Guns" or "23 Gauge Nailers". As the name would suggest, they fire "Pins" rather than "Nails".
Pins tend to be headless and of a very small gauge (diameter), meaning they are not really ideal for applications where holding power is needed. Pin nailers are mainly used for fine finishing applications such as furniture making, attaching decorative mouldings, assembling picture frames or fastening delicate materials, veneers or trim to pieces of furniture.
Often pin nails are used in conjunction with adhesives to hold mouldings in place while they set. Very little evidence is left behind on the workpiece due to the lack of a head and the very small diameter of the pin, this makes it very easy to fill over the pinhole and achieve a great finish.
Common pin sizes tend to range from around 10mm through to around 50mm and are most commonly around 23 gauge.
