At the heart of the HIKMICRO PocketE is a highly sensitive thermal sensor with a native resolution of 96 × 96 pixels, enhanced by innovative SuperIR technology that upscales images to an impressive 240 × 240 resolution for greater clarity and detail.

This ensures that even subtle temperature variations can be detected with precision, supported by a thermal sensitivity of less than 50 mK and an accuracy of up to ±2°C or ±2%, giving users confidence in every measurement.

The wide temperature measurement range from -20°C to 350°C makes it suitable for everything from detecting insulation issues and air leaks to identifying overheating electrical components or mechanical faults.

The device features a dual-camera system, combining thermal imaging with a built-in 0.3MP visual camera to provide enhanced context and clarity. Multiple imaging modes including thermal, visual, fusion, picture-in-picture and blending allow users to analyse issues from different perspectives and pinpoint problems faster.
