The Festool TSV 60 K Electric Brushless Plunge Cut Saw with Scoring Function from ITS delivers splinter-free cuts thanks to the unique scoring function.
With safety in mind, the TSV 60 K includes KickbackStop which reduces the risk of injury and damage to the workpiece caused by kickback during sawing or plunge-cutting into the workpiece. Once the saw has been triggered, it is ready for use straight away without replacements.
The scoring of the workpiece is done by a dsiamond scoring saw blade which runs in front of the main saw blade. It ensures a splinter-free cut of both sides from the very first cut. Precision adjustments can be made with ease. It can also be disabled as required.
The TSV 60 K is compatible with a huge range of guide rails to guarantee a perfect, straight cut. The transparent sliding viewing window and the additional markings for the starting and end point to the left and right of the machine provide a good view of the saw blade. What's more, there are plunge-cut markings for the plunge-cut area of the scoring saw blade.
For debris and dust free working, the saw can be connected to an external dust collector thanks to the CLEANTEC bayonet fitting. The FastFix spindle stop on the main saw blade and an additional spindle stop for the scoring saw blade make it extremely easy to change the saw blade. The compact, sophisticated design means the saw can be set down on its side, which simplifies changing of the saw blade.
The improved accuracy of the cutting depth setting, with a dual indicator and fine adjustment guarantees exact setting. Improved handling and parallax-free reading come as standard.
At the heart of this saw is the EC-TEC brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
