The slim, lightweight body of the KA module is engineered for maximum stability and tilt-resistance, giving you total control even when routing along thin or awkward edges.

Its elongated 130mm stepped router table provides expanded contact with the workpiece, preventing tipping during flush cuts or profile passes over overhangs, edging tapes, or small lips.

Built into the support base is a spring-loaded ball-bearing brake that prevents cutter burn on delicate materials by regulating contact pressure and movement speed.

Whether you're routing acrylic, PVC, melamine or fine veneer, this brake system ensures smooth, consistent finish quality without marking.

Powered by Festool’s EC-TEC brushless motor, the KA router runs with minimal vibration, reduced noise, and long service life.

It features advanced MMC electronics, which automatically adapt the motor’s RPM to the material and maintain constant speed under load. This protects the motor from overheating and gives you precision output even during prolonged use.

Dust management is handled by an integrated antistatic extraction channel within the router base, which captures chips directly at the point of cut.

Statistically charged materials like edge banding are whisked away efficiently, helping you maintain clear visibility and reducing surface defects. When paired with a Bluetooth-enabled Festool extractor, dust collection starts automatically the moment the router is powered on.
