This low weight, compact vacuum includes a plethora of features to ensure a clean working environment including integrated Bluetooth technology for automatic control and connection to Systainer T-LOC case system.
The Bluetooth connectivity allows for the automatic activation via remote control or from a Bluetooth enabled battery when attached to a cordless power tool.
The M-Class* filter machine is suitable for dust extraction when grinding, milling, sanding, planing and drilling in quartz-containing materials such as stone and concrete. M-Class dust extractors are a minimum requirement for anyone working on sites and who may be exposed to dust according to HSE guidelines.
Innovative and intuitive touch control panel instead of rotary knobs – extremely simple to operate, even when wearing gloves or in a dirty environment. The extractor is set to automatic mode as soon as it is switched on. The large internal hose holder makes it even easier to store the smooth suction hose and ensures safe and clean transport. Nothing protrudes.
The compact, ergonomic design and low weight make the extractor particularly easy to transport. Manual dedusting of the main filter and filter bag means the suction power can be restored once the filter or filter bag is inserted for a significant increase in filling capacity.
The Smooth suction hose, with conical geometry for improved suction power, smooth outer skin allow it to glide over all surfaces and edges perfectly.

I’ve been using the Festool CLEANTEC CTM MIDI I M-Class dust extractor for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best workshop purchases I’ve ever made. I expected good performance at this price point, but it has genuinely exceeded those expectations.
The suction power is phenomenal—consistent, strong, and noticeably quieter than any extractor I’ve owned before. I pair it with my track saw, sander, and router, and the difference in dust control is night and day. Even after longer sessions, the air feels cleaner and I’m sweeping up far less than usual. The automatic tool-start feature works flawlessly too; it kicks in a fraction of a second after the tool starts and shuts off with just the right delay.
Build quality is classic Festool: tough, compact, and really well thought out. The Systainer integration is brilliant—being able to click my boxes onto the top makes everything feel like one organised, mobile workstation. Despite its small footprint, the MIDI holds more dust than I expected, and the M-Class filtration gives real peace of mind when working indoors or sanding materials that generate finer, more harmful dust.
What surprised me most is how easy it is to live with. The controls are intuitive, the hose is flexible and durable, and it’s genuinely portable. I move it around the house and workshop constantly, and it never feels cumbersome. Emptying the bag and maintaining the filter is simple too, which makes a huge difference when you’re using it daily.
It’s certainly an investment, but it’s one of those tools that immediately improves your workflow, your workspace, and honestly your health. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this is absolutely worth it.
